ADOPT-A-MINEFIELD
Advisor: Sue Van Loon at svanloon@pps.k12.or.us
Students raise monies for this international organization to eradicate minefields in Cambodia.

AMIME CLUB
Advisor: Zita Podany at zitap@pps.k12.or.us
Members watch anime and study Japanese culture on Fridays after school.

BLACK STUDENT UNION
Advisor: Ron Couser at rcouser@pps.k12.or.us
This multi-ethnic group works to close the achievement gap and dispel stereotypes.

DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION
Advisor: Kari Freeman at kfreeman@pps.k12.or.us
Students play DDR and hold monthly tournaments.

EARTH CLUB
Advisor: Sue Van Loon at svanloon@pps.k12.or.us
Members plant trees, increase environmental awareness and raise money for endangered animal adoption.

FILM CLUB
Advisor: Eric Levine at elevine@pps.k12.or.us
An opportunity for students to learn about filmmaking and produce some of their own.

FRENCH CLUB
Advisor: Gina Johnson at gjohnson@pps.k12.or.us
Students practice speaking French and participate in field trips. Meetings are twice a month at lunch.

GERMAN NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY
Advisor: Roberta Stubbs at rstubbs@pps.k12.or.us
Students watch German movies, eat German food, play German games, and learn more about Germany. These students have shown academic excellence in learning the German language.

IMPROV CLUB
Advisor: Jane Ferguson at jferguson@pps.k12.or.us
Provides a safe environment for students to learn and practice improvisational comedy and related art forms.

JEWISH STUDENT UNION
Advisor: Naomi Leavitt at nleavitt@pps.k12.or.us
All students are invited to learn about Jewish culture and values through movies, food, and games.

MODEL UNITED NATIONS

To study and appreciate global affairs issues.

MUSIC THEORY CLUB

Provides a forum for peers to learn/discuss music theory.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

National Honor Society is a nationally recognized group of of students, 3rd semester students or older, who have applied and been accepted to the organization. Students participate in at least 10 hours of community service, fundraise for scholarships, and maintain a 3. 5 GPA or higher.

PAGETURNERS

Students select and discuss various works of literature and meet about twice a month.

SEXUAL MINORITIES AND ALLIES AT CLEVELAND

This is an alliance of gay and straight students and staff.

SNOWBOARD CLUB

Boarders will work to get a bus for CHS to the mountain.

SPANISH CLUB

STEAMROLLERS

Bowlers meet every three weeks at AMF Pro 300 lanes.

STRATEGY & TACTICS

Students play strategy and board games at lunch and after school.

THE SESSION

Students learn and practice Krump dancing.

THESPIANS

ULTIMATE FRISBEE CLUB

Students will perfect throwing form, learn strategy and schedule competitions.

WRITING CLUB
