Cleveland High School Mission Statement
The PTA works together with parents and staff members in identifying,
and striving to accommodate, the need for parent, student
and staff support and enrichment. Support is provided on an
on-going basis by parent volunteers through fund raising efforts
and task oriented committees, with the intent of benefiting
all members of the Cleveland community.
National PTA Mission Statement
To support and speak on behalf
of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and
before governmental bodies and other organizations that make
decisions affecting children; To assist parents in developing
the skills they need to raise and protect their children;
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools
of this nation.
Cleveland High School, as an affiliated
constituent of the Oregon PTA, pledges that membership in
PTA shall be open, without discrimination, to anyone who believes
in and supports the mission and purposes of National PTA.
